Cafe Maroc sits along the lively stretch of Tourist Street in St Paul's Bay, offering a relaxed spot to watch the world go by while enjoying a solid coffee experience. This cafe draws in a mix of locals and visitors, especially those looking for a casual stop to catch up over coffee and some sweet treats.

The highlight here is the range of cakes—Snickers, Red Velvet, and Carrot Cakes feature strongly and seem to consistently please. There's something reliably fresh about their coconut pie too. For people who appreciate variety in their coffee, Cafe Maroc delivers with diverse coffee options that complement their baked goods well. Expect laidback mornings or mid-afternoon visits when the cafe hums with low-key activity and friendly chatter.

The atmosphere leans toward comfortable and unpretentious. While the interior offers a spot to settle in, the conservatory area mentioned by some guests provides a pleasant vantage point for people-watching. Service feels notably warm and attentive, with staff often remembering regular orders—a nice touch that creates a more personal vibe uncommon in busier tourist spots nearby.

Cafe Maroc seems especially suited for those who want a break from sightseeing or a sweet pause during shopping runs along the bay. Locals appreciate it as a steady, dependable cafe to meet friends or take a quiet moment. It’s a place where you can reliably find a good cappuccino to pair with a piece of cake without any fuss, and where the staff add a bit of welcoming familiarity to the everyday cafe routine.

The Asian waiter and the lady with blonde hair and small bun were the nicest of staff in the whole Cafe experience we had in db hotel. They always remembered what we wanted and ordered before and were always smiling. The ice coffee and chocolate cake was the best that we had for days also the coconut pie was fresh .

Went in for cake to take out but they did not have take out boxes so I stayed for coffee and cake for €4. The cappuccino was delicious as was the red velvet cake. The waitress who served me was extremely nice, helpful and corteous. I will go back.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. We stayed at the DB San Antonio Hotel before Christmas and often spent time in this cafe watching the world go by from the conservatory . They serve a wide range of quality coffees, teas, alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks and delicious dessert cakes. The service is always excellent and Clara in particular was amazing.

We loved spending time in this cosy café throughout our stay in Malta. Rarely too busy and lots of different places to sit, inside and in the outdoor covered porch. A wide range of drinks and snacks are available. The service varied depending on who was working at the time. Some were absolutely brilliant, with speedy and friendly service, but there were a few who seemed to spend a lot of time in the back, leaving the bar unattended and not clearing tables. Perhaps an understaffing issue? Either way, it was our go-to for evening drinks, and I would recommend it.
